Development of an app: from study project to industry<\/h2>\n

Our two colleagues Heiko and Robin inspired many students at HFU Furtwangen University<\/a> with this presentation. It gave them an insight into the development stages of an app, from its beginnings as a semester project through to its successful establishment in the industry. <\/p>\n

Robin shared his experiences from the semester project at HFU<\/a> and the subsequent internship at tepcon, which marked the starting point of his career at tepcon. The two speakers provided detailed insights into product development in terms of planning and technology. Challenges and during the development steps were highlighted. <\/p>\n

The “Digital Guide”<\/a> project offers a fascinating journey from its origins as a study project to its successful integration into the industry. The development phases of this project reflect the advancing technology and innovative spirit of those involved. It began with HoloLens development, where augmented reality (AR) revolutionized the user experience. This was followed by the transition to app development, which laid the foundation for the project. The evolution continued with the launch of “trainHub”, a virtual reality (VR) application that fully exploited the potential of mixed reality.  <\/p>\n

The project is currently in a further phase, having been implemented as a WebApp. These development steps illustrate not only the technological development, but also the adaptability of the project to different platforms and user environments. In this context, the presentation will show the path from HoloLens development to the app to the current WebApp in order to give the audience a comprehensive insight into the development dynamics and history of this pioneering project. <\/p>\n

By presenting real projects and sharing experiences, HFU<\/a> students should be given orientation and motivation for their own future projects in the field of app and web development:
