We are delighted about the award!
On Monday, September 28, the Innovation Award was presented to the management of tepcon GmbH, Alexandra Laufer-Müller and Christoph Kluge, by the “Innovationsförderung” foundation at the Öschberghof in Donaueschingen. The product that put us on the winners’ podium is the Augmented Reality Suite, which comprises several IIoT-based AR solutions for industry.
Time and cost savings, more efficient processes and image building as an innovator – these are the benefits of the solutions for industrial companies in a nutshell.
Innovation award for tepcon’s augmented reality solutions for industry
The innovation prize is awarded every two years to promote innovative achievements in medium-sized companies in industry and the skilled trades. The “Innovation Promotion” foundation was set up by the Sparkasse. In cooperation with the Constance Chamber of Crafts, the Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Furtwangen University, the aim of the award is to stimulate the inventive and tinkering spirit of the local economy and strengthen future orientation in the region.
“I am so proud of you! We have made it. It wouldn’t have been possible without you. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your commitment, inspiration and the fire you bring to the projects,” said Christoph Kluge to the tepcon team after the award ceremony.
“Innovation is what companies live on,” emphasized the evening’s guest speaker Ferdinand Dudenhöffer at the award ceremony. We at tepcon GmbH have been following this attitude of “living innovation” since the company was founded in 2002. We develop innovative IoT products for companies in various industries, such as mechanical engineering, telecommunications, production and information technology. The aim is always to bundle digitization approaches for the customer in a smart way and to create unique selling points and competitive advantages for the customer by using them.
The award-winning Augmented Reality Suite brings the benefits of augmented reality (simple, easy-to-understand, more accessible and intuitive access to information) to industry and specifically addresses specific tasks and challenges in practice. These include processes in sales, service and maintenance, product development as well as factory planning and production/machine monitoring.
